Minimum-wage tour is coming to newBERLIN |
02.07.2007 On Juliy 3th the tour for minimum-wages coming through Germany right now will be visiting newBERLIN. The tour is organized by the trade unions ver.di and Nahrung Genussmittel Gaststätten. The exhibition accompanying the tour "Arm trotz Arbeit" ("Poor in spite of work") can be visited from 12 am at the Potsdamer Platz in Berlin. Right now it's already accessible at the newBERLIN museum Kulturbahnhof. It's an exhibition realized by Marc Brinkmeier and Judka Strittmatter and combines pictures and statements of people that earn less than the demanded minimum-wage of 7,50 €. In newBERLIN there are also pictures documenting the tour so far, that guested in 46 by now. At its for the time being last stop in RL-Berlin there will be various events and talks, numerous politicans and activists are expected. In newBERLIN there will as well be a demonstration at the virtual Alexanderplatz. Every participant has the opportunity to express his/her view via chat or banners. Find out more: www.mindestlohn.de.
