 With 370,000L$, the largest prize money ever given out in Second Life, the MACHINIMA AWARD 2009 moves into it's final phase. 48 Machinima Producers have entered their Films in the Competition. Subject categories include heartbreaking love stories, beautiful and amazing art films, witty comedies and music clips, and powerful dramatic storytelling. Notable newcomers show their first films. From October 1 through October 11 the three best Films in each category (ART, DRAMA, FUN, LOVE, NEWBIE) will be chosen through the MACHINIMA ARTIST GUILD (M.A.G.) with an online voting system. From October 12 through October 16 the final voting is open to all Second Life® users to vote for their favorite Film within each category.
