Online exhibitions provide many advantages. Offers and contact information are gatherd in one place and the fair is accessible for Visitors from all over the world around the clock. In fall 2010 the first online education fair for Berlin and Brandenburg kicks off. Simultaneously to a usual internet fair, there will be exhibiton booths in the 3D virtual world Second Life. The 3D exhibition grounds, on which the educational institutions and the consulting service institutions introduce themselves, is both a presentation platform and is used for communication. Exhibitors, speakers, convention staff and visitors can take action with free 3D avatars. They can move freely by their own through the virtual exhibition and use the various communication capabilities.
The latest web technologies are used and there are many take away information for download additional to the information presented on videos or in presentations etc.
The events of the online education fair deals about offers from educational and consulting service institutions, including E-learning, vocational training, further education offerings and of course financial support. Educational Tools, SLOODLE and other learning techniques also play a role.
