As you may have noticed, a film shooting is goining on in newBERLIN. To find out more on the film visit the official blog: www.werther-derfilm.de. 

As we have to close parts of the virtual capital from time to time, people keep asking us, what is going on here?! To let you all take part in the exiting shooting we now give you a litttle backstage view with some photos and news. Have fun! 

Our headquarter in Berlin turned into a small film studio. Everyone ever been here knows how tiny it is, so we really have to use every squaremeter we can find (and that is free from monitors, computers and all the other stuff flying around).

The virtual film-team:

Director for the scenes shot in virtuality is Teboho Edkins. With him we already realised the parts of Kinshasa 2.0 in newBERLIN (watch the movie here). Jan Northoff is responsible for building and installation of the sets, he furthermore is the virtual camera operator. Tobias Neisecke is coordinating everything. Last but not least there is the camera operator Juliane from the production company Teamworx.

Before we could start shooting, a lot of work needed to be done. Webdesigner, builder and scripter were busy creating the stage designs and the sets, especially Tom Lowe, Atze Hyun (Jakob Mebes) and Cisko Vandeverre.
